The role of dust filter bags in pulse bag dust collectors

Bag dust collector is also called filter dust collector. Any equipment that uses bag-shaped filter elements made of fabric or non-woven fabric to capture solid particles in dust-containing gas can be called bag dust collector. The bag dust collector is generally composed of a box body, a filter bag, a filter bag frame, a dust cleaning mechanism, an ash hopper, a dust discharge valve and other components.

Under the traction of the fan power, the pulse bag dust collector forms a negative pressure environment inside the dust collector, the dust removal pipe and the dust removal cover mouth. The dust collector general contract operation and maintenance manufacturer causes the dust at the dust point to enter the dust collector under the action of the pressure difference, including After the dust gas enters the dust collector from the air inlet, the air flow speed slows down, and the coarse particles break away from the air flow and settle into the dust collection chamber. When the fine dust passes through the bag with the air flow, it is blocked on the outer surface of the bag, and the clean gas is discharged from the air outlet;

When the dust layer on the surface of the bag is thick, the pulse controller issues a command to open the blow valve, and the compressed air in the air bag is sprayed out at high speed through the blow pipe. At the same time, the surrounding air, which is several times the amount of sprayed air, is induced to enter the bag and rapidly flows from the inside to the outside. Injection blows the dust on the outer surface of the bag down into the dust collection chamber, and is discharged from the ash hopper.

The dust removal of the dust collector adopts pulse injection method, which not only achieves dust removal without damaging the filter bag, but also ensures the service life of the filter bag. The dust cleaning process is automatically controlled by a pulse controller, which can use pressure difference control or time control.

Basic features of dust removal filter bags
(1) The dust removal efficiency is high, generally above 99%, and the outlet flue gas concentration can reach below 50mg/m3, or even 10mg/m3
(2) The processing gas volume range is large and can handle high-concentration dust-containing gases;
(3) The structure is relatively simple and easy to operate and maintain;
(4) Under the same dust removal efficiency, its cost and operating costs are lower than those of electrostatic precipitators;
(5) Insensitive to dust characteristics and not affected by dust specific resistance.
