Structure and principle of wire wound filter element

Wirewound filter elements are often used in water filtration or food/chemical industries.
They have the characteristics of large filtration flow, high precision, small pressure difference, high pressure resistance, large dirt holding capacity, and no secondary pollution.
They can effectively remove suspended matter and particles in liquids, and are a widely used product.

Structural features of wire-wound filter element:

• When making a wire-wound filter element, the specially made coarse yarn with fluff is cross-wound on a porous skeleton, and wound layer by layer to the required specified diameter.
• The coarse yarn is continuously cross-wound on the skeleton to form a filter layer containing thousands of diamond-shaped holes.
• The diamond-shaped holes on the filter layer near the skeleton on the filter element are small, and the diamond-shaped holes become larger as they go outward, and the diamond-shaped holes are connected inside and outside to form a channel.

Working principle of wire wound filter element:

1. In order to increase the flow of liquid in the filter element, the diamond hole channel is curved and scattered, but the diamond holes of each layer are still connected. The bending makes the diamond hole channel longer, which is equivalent to increasing the thickness of the filter layer of the filter element and improving the filtering effect.
2. The yarn is wound with certain parameters, and a diamond curved filter channel from the outside to the inside and from large to small is formed inside the wire wound filter element.
3. The size of the diamond hole in the inner layer of the filter element is the key to determining the accuracy of the filter element. The smaller the diamond hole, the higher the accuracy of the filter element; the larger the diamond hole, the lower the accuracy of the filter element.
